My path into insurance began in health care. In 2007, I worked as a Surgical Coder for a group of orthopedic surgeons. While supporting physicians, staff, and patients, I quickly realized how confusing insurance questions could be - and how important it was to have clear, accurate answers.

 

Motivated to better serve those around me, I spent evenings studying health insurance in depth and later earned my Florida Insurance License. When my work environment changed, stepping fully into the insurance field felt like a natural - and rewarding - next chapter. It has proven to be one of the best decisions I’ve made.

 

My background in health care gives me a strong foundation for understanding both medical needs and insurance options. More importantly, it allows me to explain coverage in a way that is practical, patient, and easy to understand.

 

On a personal level, caring for my parents through serious medical challenges deeply shaped how I serve others today. Watching my mother struggle to receive the care she needed during her battle with advanced cancer, and later helping my father navigate his medical needs, strengthened my commitment to compassion, honesty, and advocacy.
